1. Agreement

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and shy.bio. By creating an account, accessing the service, maintaining a profile, adding content, or purchasing any product or upgrade, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use shy.bio.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account, login access, profile content, links, hosted media URLs, and activity. You must provide accurate account information and keep your access secure.

3. User content

You keep ownership of content you add to your profile. By uploading, linking, embedding, displaying, or otherwise submitting content to shy.bio, you represent that you own the content or have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed to use it on the service.

You give shy.bio a limited license to host, display, process, resize, cache, moderate, remove, and distribute that content as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. You are solely responsible for content you submit and for any legal claims, demands, damages, or expenses arising from that content.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use shy.bio for illegal content, harassment, malware, phishing, impersonation, spam, unauthorized copyrighted material, trademark misuse, stolen artwork, leaked content, sexual exploitation, doxxing, or attempts to disrupt the service.

Do not upload or display content that copies another creator, brand, artist, developer, profile, community, or business without permission. We may treat intentional or repeated intellectual-property abuse as a serious violation.

5. Paid products

Paid tiers and add-ons unlock the features described at checkout. Prices, features, and availability may change over time. Lifetime products mean lifetime of the product/service as offered, not an unlimited guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged forever.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

All purchases are final. shy.bio does not provide refunds for digital profile features, badges, verification, customization, upgrades, premium access, or other delivered digital products except where required by applicable law. Contact support before opening a chargeback so we can review delivery or account issues.

7. Moderation

We may remove content, restrict profiles, revoke abusive access, preserve relevant records, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users, the service, rights holders, or third parties.

For serious copyright, trademark, fraud, abuse, or chargeback issues, we may escalate the matter to payment processors, hosting providers, law enforcement, or legal counsel.

Additional enforcement, acceptable-use, and no-refund rules are available in the Legal Center and are incorporated into these Terms where applicable.

8. Service availability

shy.bio is provided as-is and as-available. We try to keep it reliable, but downtime, bugs, data loss, third-party outages, or feature changes may happen.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, shy.bio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill.

10. Intellectual property enforcement

shy.bio respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. Copyright or trademark violations may result in content removal, loss of paid features, account termination, and referral to outside counsel. When necessary, we may contact legal counsel, including copyright counsel available through https://www.indielaw.com/gacall-copyright/, to review enforcement options.

11. Verification and badge sync

Verification, premium, staff, and other badges may depend on purchase records, Discord server roles, or internal review. If a required Discord role or supporting record is removed, shy.bio may remove the related website badge or verified state.
